The European WITP Championships will be held on the 12th of October 2013 at Copenhagen Skatepark in Copenhagen, Denmark.

At the Champs there will be a 5000€ prize purse, two tickets to the USA WITP Championships in Costa Mesa, CA (19 October 2013) and million more prizes to win from Volcom, Electric and XSories. The European WITP Championships is an outstanding event that gathers skaters from so many different areas but also puts together some of the top European skaters with local heroes and up and coming talents who are entering their first “international competition”. Celebrating its 10th season in Europe, Volcom Stone’s Wild In The Parks 2013 kicked off in June and is stopping in 17 locations this summer from Spain to Finland, covering almost every European country. There are 3 divisions to choose from: an Open division with cash prizes, 14 & under and a 15 & over divisions, and as every season, these contests are entirely free, with free entry, free food, free drinks and tons of prizes! The Wild In The Parks was born when we noticed something needed to change in the skateboard contest scene. We decided to take a different path, a road less traveled, and offer something new and entirely different. We came up with an event format that alleviates both stress and boredom while increasing involvement. The Wild In The Parks is for young up and coming skaters to come out and show their skills. But also it is a great environment for everyone to hang out, skate, eat some free food, support their friends, meet new friends and go home with a ton of free prizes! Think of the event like three best trick contests; skaters are judged on the tricks they pull in three separate park “zones”, never on their bails. Wild In The Parks is about giving back to the skaters. With this in mind, the series is entirely free for competitors. There is a free BBQ lunch and absolutely no entry fees at each qualifying event, so anyone can sign up to compete!
