This film is an intimate look at the Vans surf team on the north shore of Hawaii during January of 2023.

It’s about the cultural connections and expressions of gratitude between surfers and the local community. ‘Whats The Call?’ explores all those special moments in between sessions and what it looks like when the right call is made.
