Vans Europe announce launch of latest Three-Part snowboarding project
Vans Europe have dropped the final chapter of their ‘T.R.I.P.L.E’ series of snowboarding short films, showcasing the talent, creativity and diversity of their team riders.
‘T.R.I.P.L.E’ takes leading riders including Rene Rinnekangas, Danimals, Benny Urban, Fridge, Arthur Longo, Blake Paul and guest riders Enni Rukajarvi and Ivika Jurgenson on three crazy journeys to Austria, Japan and France to capture the insane beauty of mountains, street and park riding.
Chapter 1: Park, shot in Kitzsteinhorn, Austria, is the first in the series and shows how guys like Rene and Fridge are at the forefront of park riding’s evolution from contest orientated to a more creative space.

The penultimate film, Chapter 2: Street, captures how heavily inspired street snowboarding is by skateboarding and how it fits perfectly into the Vans DNA. Filmed throughout the streets of Hokkaïdo Japan, Danimals and Benny’s ready to ride whatever mentality is the perfect representation of this connection between skate and street snowboarding.

And Chapter 3: Back Country, closes with mountains and powder riding; the true roots of snowboarding. Legendary snowboard filmer Jack Price followed Arthur Longo and his good mate Blake Paul to Chamonix, a universe they’re getting more and more familiar with, as the duo show us how they approach this wild terrain.

The trio of films, shot by three different crews – Kuske and Jarsi for Park Chapter, Alex Pfeffer for Street Chapter and Jake Price for Back Country Chapter – are brought to life further by a limited edition box set including three magazines shot and designed by photographer, Matt Georges. 500 of these issues will be available across Europe in selected pro shops.
