UMBRA VITAE DROP VICIOUS NEW VIDEO FOR ‘ETHEREAL EMPTINESS’

UMBRA VITAE DROP VICIOUS NEW VIDEO FOR ‘ETHEREAL EMPTINESS’
Salad Days

The track appears on their debut album, ‘Shadow Of Life’, out now digitally with vinyl copies forthcoming this August via Deathwish Inc.

Umbra Vitae was formed by Jacob Bannon, Mike McKenzie and Sean Martin — who all have roots in aggressive music — as they warmed up for Wear Your Wounds rehearsals by playing heavy riffs. Following the WYW album cycle (their ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’ LP was released last year on Deathwish), the trio recruited Greg Weeks (The Red Chord, Labor Hex) and Jon Rice (Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats, Job For A Cowboy) for the rhythm section to back their aggressive riffs and Umbra Vitae was born.

Their debut album was released digitally on May 1st via Deathwish Inc. and the band and label have announced that vinyl copies are in production and will be shipping in late August. To celebrate, Umbra Vitae has dropped a video for the album’s visceral third single ‘Ethereal Emptiness’.
