Newcastle-Upon-Tyne’s emo-pop punk powerhouse, Tired Of Fighting, is thrilled to announce their signing with U.S. based indie label Punkerton Records.

Known for blending the raw energy of early 2000s emo with a modern, heartfelt punch, band channels the influence of bands like Motion City Soundtrack and Taking Back Sunday, layered with the energy of Paramore and the storytelling depth of The Gaslight Anthem. Since their 2019 formation, they has captured audiences with Nic Wood‘s commanding vocals and George Sharpe‘s driving bass. Originally launched as an acoustic project, the band quickly evolved into a high-energy trio. The band was soon ready to take their signature sound further afield, and with the help of management from Metathetic Music, planned shows across the UK. Following lineup adjustments that welcomed drummer Kev Nolan, Tired Of Fighting solidified their sound and soon hit the road across the UK, captivating audiences with their powerful mix of lyrical emotion and driving rhythms. The band’s rising momentum caught the eye of Punkerton Records after their lyric video for ‘Hollow’ premiered on BSBTV, guest-hosted by Punkerton’s Brandon Alan Lewis. This appearance sparked a connection that led to the band signing with the label, marking the beginning of their U.S. expansion. Already making waves in the UK with festival performances alongside Trash Boat and Heriot, group has solidified their place in the emo-punk scene. Now, with Punkerton Records behind them, the band is ready to bring their emotionally charged sound to fans around the globe. This is just the beginning for them.
