Tope hooks up with 50 Cent & Ab-Soul Producer Trox for ‘BBS’
It’s been a busy month for Tope already – making a guest appearance on Liv Warfield’s sold-out homecoming show and briefly linking up with Macklemore in Seattle at his most recent show.
This week TOPE is back and hooks up with 50 Cent and Ab-Soul producer, Trox for the title song to BROKEBOYSYNDROME – ‘BBS’ featuring additional live organ by Beau Bryan and vocals from Lindsey Reightley. On ‘BBS’ TOPE explores the main themes of his new album; growing up in poverty with little to no positive influences and trying to make something out of nothing. Getting personal TOPE touches on his parents and their influence on his youth “I remember when my momma got them lights cut off, church came through with that food in a box” and “Daddy was a drunk not a dollar to his name, said I never be that punk and I promised that I change.”
