Three-time Olympic medalist and musician Will Claye (USA) releases ‘Dreams Don’t Die’
Will Claye, a three-time Olympic medalist in triple jump and long jump, also moonlights as a talented musician.
On Tuesday, March 24th, the day the postponement of the 2020 Olympics were announced, Claye took to his home studio to put words to his feelings about the dream of competing in Tokyo being delayed. The track, called ‘Dreams Don’t Die’ reflects the emotion, and also the hope – that the day will come to compete with the best athletes around the world and to be together again. The message in the song is one of positivity and resilience, that he and his fellow athletes will rise to the occasion and keep working towards 2021 despite the setbacks. Will Claye is an accomplished musician when he is not on the track.
