The Vans Shop Riot series returns for 2015, and kicks off at St. Albans’ Pioneer Skatepark in the Uk on April 25-26
…and will stop off the same weekend at the Flesh & Bones Skatepark in Aalst, Belgium on April 26. Below is the video recap of last year’s event.
With the first signs of summer starting to appear, we’re all getting a little more sunshine and a lot more rad back in our lives, as just around the corner is the 2015 VANS SHOP RIOT SERIES! Once you’ve dug out your shorts and sunglasses, get your board and get ready to follow the tour. Beginning on April 25th, the 2015 Vans Shop Riot Series lands in the UK – and this time, it’s for two days of non-stop action. Hitting St. Albans’ Pioneer Skatepark, there’ll be £3,000 up for grabs over the weekend, as well as a ticket to the finals for the winning team. As the UK leg draws to a close, the action starts in Aalst on Sunday April 26th, at the formidable Flesh & Bones Skatepark: the scene of last year’s Vans Shop Riot Series finals, and where Belgium’s own Rampaffairz skateshop narrowly missed out on the top spot in an epic showdown with Burnside (NL) and Skate Pharmacy (UK). They’ll no doubt be back alongside their fellow countrymen to do battle and fight for their spot in the 2015 finals. Vans Shop Riot celebrates the teams and the independent stores that make our scene what it is. In 2015, the series marks seven years of fostering camaraderie and community, and championing the best bits of European skateboarding through the Vans Shop Riot format. Taking in fifteen stops across the continent, the Vans Shop Riot 2015 hits everywhere from Spain to Scandinavia, Poland to Portugal, before winding up in the final of finals, pitching the cream of our humble community against each other for the ultimate accolade of Vans Shop Riot Series Champions 2015!
