Saturday 1st August sees the arrival of John Lindsay, an artist, skateboarder and all round rad human being.

John will be taking residency in our Hackney Road Store for the evening, displaying a vast selection of his work which highlights the importance of interaction and connection within skateboarding and the by-products of it.

“My name is John Lindsay and I hail from San Francisco, California. In an attempt to give focus to some of my ideas and wandering mind, I created the Sleeping Horse as a way to connect those ideas with friends and the broader skateboard community. The Sleeping Horse is an evolving collaborative of creative efforts among friends from far and near. It is intended to shed light onto a small slice of San Francisco skateboarding shrouded in a patch of fog. “The Fog in the Smoke” will be a collection of photographs, collage and digital video which have all accumulated while pushing through the streets. I hope to see you there!”
