‘Raíces’ album out June 30th on Convulse Records.

Today, Kansas City hardcore meets powerviolence band Spine have unleashed their new single ‘Vaico’. The track follows the already released ‘P.O.C.’ from their upcoming third full-length, ‘Raíces’, out June 30th on Convulse Records. On ‘Vacio’ Spine deliver a blend of thrashy riffs, rapid drums, and jagged Spanish-sung vocals that exude desolation in the absence of joy. Expanding on the lyrics, vocalist Antonio Marquez states:

“As your world continues to steal your happiness and your purpose, nothing else remains except hurt, pain, and anger.”

Spine’s invigorating sound translates to their energy-packed live show, which has been on full display across North America and at festivals like Sound and Fury and This Is Hardcore. The band is will head to the east coast in July for a short run with labelmates Destiny Bond. Full dates below.
