Serration share intense new single ‘Altar Of Guilt’ featuring David Blom of Sanction
New album ‘Simulations Of Hell’ out September 15th on DAZE.
On their new single ‘Altar Of Guilt’ Canadian band Serration have delivered an intense and feverish blend of metalcore in just under two minutes. Manically technical instrumentation is met by bellowing vocals and a heavy-hitting guest feature from Sanction vocalist David Blom. The song serves as the third track released, following ‘Shroud Of Gnarled Tongues’ and ‘A Suicide Note In Midi Format’ from Serration’s upcoming album ‘Simulations Of Hell’ out September 15th on DAZE. Diving into the lyrics of ‘Altar Of Guilt’ vocalist Cody Dewald explains:
“Song is about worshiping materialistic items and valuing them more than themselves or others around them. Take a holiday like Black Friday or in Canada we have Boxing Day. People will trample and fight one another for 10% off a 30” flat screen tv and those same people will be in church Sunday morning wanting their sins to be forgiven. It’s a joke.”
‘Simulations Of Hell’ was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jordan Chase at Oodelally Recordings in Kelowna, BC.
Serration is Cody Dewald – Vocals, Jake Braben – Guitar, Jose Flores – Guitar, Matt Wischlinksi – Bass and Colter James – Drums.
