Nineteen89 Records announce their arrival onto the scene with a release from up-and-coming producer Rumah.
Rumah takes a break from his traditional techno tipped production to join dubstep producer Progression for tech-roller ‘Chance Meeting’. With support from J:Kenzo, N-Type, Youngsta, Phaeleh, DJ Madd, Seven and Killawatt the track effortlessly blends the musical elements of dub techno with the ferocity of UK bass music. On the flip Rumah goes in with acid influenced track ‘E1′. Mutated synths, bass and killer drum samples come together to create a devastating dance-floor destroyer. Support comes from South London Ordnance and Lawson on Rinse FM and NTS Radio. Nineteen89 Records is a new London label from Conor Wheeler, most well-known for running successful London club night Dirty Canvas. It was set up with the aim of releasing high quality, intelligent music with exceptional artwork while not focusing on any genre of dance music in particular.
