Nitro adds Victor De Le Rue to the Team
Nitro Snowboards (Rider Owned), the 27 year old snowboard brand is thrilled to announce its newest addition to the family – Victor De Le Rue, one of the most progressive and up and coming riders in the world.
Victor is one of the special kinds of snowboarders, he rides everything from street rails, transitions, backcountry jumps, one-foots, to technical “ice axe demanding” AK lines. He is from France and has already made a huge impact on the international snowboard scene with video parts in Standard Films, ender part in Absinthe Films, and the ender part of Transworld Snowboards ‘Origin’. His passion for pushing his own boundaries and his passion for snowboarding in every type of terrain reflects his passion for having a good time on his snowboard, which is exactly the type of team riders Nitro Snowboards prouds itself for having. “When I was 7 years old I got my first twin tip board, which was a Nitro, and I learned how to ride switch and had even more fun, now I can finally rock these sick Nitro boards again. I am just so happy to be a part of one of the coolest brands with the best products and team! I am so grateful for the direction of snowboarding they are pushing.” – Victor De Le Rue. Victor has big plans this year, spending the first half of the winter filming a full part for the new Transworld Snowboards ‘#InsightMovie’, and now he is off to AK for the next 2 months to film for another “BIG” project, maybe the biggest one of the year (wink, wink!). Nitro is excited to work closely with Victor to push their split boarding and all-mountain products even further in the future.
“We are so stoked to have such an up and coming versatile rider become part of our Nitro family. The first time I rode with Victor was almost 10 years ago and he blew my mind than. I am so amazed at how great of an ambassador for snowboarding Victor has become over the last few years. He is by far one of the best all-around snowboarders on the planet at the moment. We are honored to have this french bad ass on our team!” said Nitro´s International Marketing and Team Manager Knut Eliassen.
