Los Angeles Ska/Punk trio Rundown Kreeps release new single ‘FC’
Salad Days

Recorded by Jonathan Mireles (Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Tickets To My Downfall’) and includes special guest mastering by Roger Lima (Less Than Jake).

Resurrecting the hard-hitting vibrations of the Southern California underground…RDK’s newest single is a showcase of high energy punk rock, exploratory ideas, and subcultural guitar virtuosity. Lyrically the song discusses centering in on the perception of reality while acknowledging the possibility of universal contrast. Is reality a byproduct of the human experience; or is the human experience the consequence of reality? “With this latest single we returned to where it all began. That blend of Punk, Psychobilly, and vivacity that shrieked through our amps.” Recently seen performing in Vegas during Punk Rock Bowling and at Punk In The Park Festival alongside Pennywise, Descendents, Goldfinger, The Suicide Machines, the band has also been featured on SiriusXM’s Faction Punk, and on festival lineups such as The Fest and SXSW. They have shared stages with artists such as Pilfers, The Toasters, The Queers, Nekromantix, The Copyrights, & The Weirdos. Formed in 2009, LA-based trio Rundown Kreeps perform Melodic Punk Rock blended with Alternative Rock, and dashes of frantic Ska to keep audiences moving across a variety of dance floors. The band has released two full length albums as well as several stand alone single tracks. In 2020 the group signed with My Grito Industries, to release their sophomore album ‘RDK’. Notable tracks from the bands latest release include ‘Held Down’ and ‘We All Go’, which were both added to rotation via Faction Punk on Sirius XM Radio. ‘Held Down’ is also featured on the Spotify Official Playlist The Essential Ska.

‘FC’ Lyrics:

Thrown into the void of terrible & divine

No consequence or peace of mind

A dying sun, well paired with the obscene

The rise and fall of self and everything in between

It catches our eyes so we watch

Little do we know how we perceive our own thoughts

And the worries you dream at night

Counter balance that morning sky

And I agree

It feels like the best part of me has given up on reality

Where lies the bliss and beauty within the unknown

Is it love and guilt or flesh and bone?

Dreaded be the weight we carry through the vines of time
