Long Beach, CA punks Heartwells new single ‘Eerie’

Long Beach, CA punks Heartwells new single ‘Eerie’
Salad Days

Releasing LP ‘The New Old School’ digitally on June 28, vinyl available starting June 29. Recorded @ Buzzbomb Studios with Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Atreyu, Thrice, Death By Stereo).

The album’s next single ‘Eerie’ will premiere on June 19 on the Rachael-O-Rama Punk Show, and then hits all DSPs on June 20. Frontman JT says, “‘Eerie’ is kind of a bummer of a song because it wraps up a lot of the personal emotions I was feeling during the height of the pandemic, empty towns, people dying, etc. The light at the end of the tunnel is the perseverance we all had to make it through that time together and the lessons we learned from it. It has a nice balance of catchy vs. melancholy melody. One of my favorite tracks on the record”. In the meantime, check out the latest single ‘Doomer’.

Heartwells consist of members: Justin “JT” Tauch (Vox/Guitar), Dave “Moki” Marino (Bass/Vox), Chris “Guinness” Stout (Drums/Vox), Sam “Skwid” Peterson (Guitar/Vox). Bringing in influences from every decade of punk, a little metal and a hair of ska, Heartwells sound is new yet familiar. Formed in Long Beach’s legendary Gilmore Music, band are a 4 piece melodic punk fueled by a couple of beers, Liquid Deaths, THC Hi-Boys, & some extremely mediocre rounds of golf during a world pandemic. They are consistently hitting the pavement playing shows and touring whenever possible and might be the new guys on the block but they are prepared to take over the world one crusty bar at a time while helping usher in a new wave of punk rock.
