Jason Jägel at The Hub for his first Parisian Exhibition ‘The bitter End’ Curated by Arkitip

We are proud to announce our next curated exhibition in Paris with artist Jason Jägel that will be launched on Sept 12th at the Hub , from 18pm. The exhibition coincides with the release of the capsule collection he designed for DC Shoes. The exhibition, ‘The Bitter End’, continues Jägel‘s life-long relationship to making art as a part of the daily function of living. His work is a theatrical enactment of an on-going, never-ending conversation with himself, regarding the nature of reality and his place within it. Jägel takes inspiration from artists travelling deep down their own wormhole: Kurt Schwitters, Bruce Connor, Chris Ware, Otis Jackson, Jr., Philip Guston, et cetera. This is his first exhibition in Paris. Along with the artwork installations we will present a full color catalog and a new silk screen print for the opening, produced specifically for the exhibition. The video element to accompany the release of the capsule collection is now online. Similar to what we do with the Chronicles, the video will give the viewer a closer look at the process and inspirations of the artist.
