Ingrown release gargantuan new single ‘Enemy’ along with dirt-bike-riding, gun-toting, hell-raising music video
Boise, Idaho’s loudest export, Ingrown, have returned with a truly gargantuan new single, ‘Enemy’ via Closed Casket Activities. On Tour now in North America w/ Sunami, Torena, Apex Predator, Scarab, AWOL.
Upcoming Southeast Asia Tour. The track arrives along with a dirt-bike-riding, gun-toting, hell-raising music video that captures the spirits of this up-and-coming hardcore powerhouse. Recorded by Andy Nelson (Inclination, Pain Of Truth, Jesus Piece) “Enemy” is two minutes and twelve seconds of pure fury. The track bursts out of the gate with an onslaught of kick drum before a ten ton riff takes over and vocalist Ross Hansen sounds so viscerally angry that you can practically hear the spit hearing the mic–that’s just the first 30 seconds. But one of Ingrown‘s greatest strength is that they also know despite all of the rage and catharsis, playing extremely aggressive music is also extremely fun, and the unhinged music video for ‘Enemy’ finds the band and their crew stirring up trouble across Idaho. It’s a perfect reminder of why Ingrown are one of the best new bands in hardcore right now, and luckily listeners won’t have to wait too long to hear more from them. Hansen discussed the new song saying:
“To maintain your individuality and integrity you have to ignore paths presented to you by those who’d rather keep you down than see you survive. At times who you’re up against is only yourself: the most corrupted version, one that’s been influenced by these forces and gives into the pressure giving up on all that you can really be.”
Ingrown are currently in the midst of a massive North American tour supporting Sunami. After that the band will head to Southeast Asia for the first time for a run of headlining shows. See full itinerary below and stay tuned for more from Ingrown.
