On 8th, 9th and 10th of August 2014, in Ieper, Belgium, the biggest outdoor hardcore diy festival in Europe will be back again for the 22nd time!

In order to have an idea of what we are talking about, I will basically tell you this: This is the longest running outdoor underground festival in the continent and more than 10,000 visitors come to attend from all over the world each year.

Moreover, let me give you some names: Conflict, Converge, DOA, Guttermouth, Indigesti, Misery Index, Murphy’s Law, Poison Idea, Ramallah, The Real McKenzies, SNFU, Strife Sub Zero, Total Chaos, Zero Boys are some of the many bands that are going to be on stage. More are to be announced!

By the way, Ieperfest promotes a vegan and environmentally friendly lifestyle, which is always a good thing. Have a look at their Green Policy. Ieperfest is organized by two Belgian, not-for-profit DIY collectives: Vortín Vis and Genet Records and 120 volounteers make it happen each and every year.

They represent 25 years of experience of organising & promoting underground events. By joining hands, they manage to make the mother of all European underground hardcore festivals the big success it has always been. Profits (if any) are split up between both collectives who re-invest them in their future projects. Totally worth checking out!
