High Vis ‘Mind’s A Lie’ (Official Video)
The video for ‘Mind’s A Lie’ was shot in South East London, written and directed by Martina Pastori, stars Welsh movement artist Sem Osian and explores themes of class, isolation and loneliness.
‘I wanted to look at how quickly negative habits can take control when you lack a positive or constructive outlet for your energy. While the language of mental health provision has found fertile ground in the churn of social media, access to essential services has been decimated by the indifference of successive Tory governments. Further division has been stoked through governmental rhetoric and media scapegoating. Without adequate support in times of crisis, life can quickly spiral into an angry and isolated existence’ – Graham Sayle / High Vis
Produced by Jonah Falco. Engineered by Stanley Gravett. Mixed by Misha Hering. Mastered by Heba Kadry. Additional vocals by Ell Murphy.

‘Mind’s A Lie’ lyrics:
Do you wanna giz a chance to try?
Cross the line,
Just to get by.
Exhaust the fuel,
We rinsed it dry.
What is truth,
When your mind’s a lie?
Face to face,
With all I’ve known,
But I can’t call these thoughts my own.
Redemption so far beyond me,
Paranoid, alone and lonely.
Do you wanna giz a chance to try?
Cross the line,
Just to get by.
Exhaust the fuel,
We rinsed it dry.
What is truth,
When your mind’s a lie?
Face to face,
With all I’ve known,
But I can’t call these thoughts my own.
Redemption so far beyond me,
Paranoid, alone and lonely.
Come on giz a chance to try.
What is truth,
When your mind’s a lie?
