Members of Betrayed, With Honor, Love Is Red, Sinking Ships. Seattle band Plague Mind is channeling the heartfelt and aggressive sound of early 2000’s hardcore on their upcoming EP, ‘Always On The Outside’.

Set for self-release on September 27th, the band gives a first taste with the single ‘Forget Me’. The track is two and a half minutes of barn burning riffs met with vocals that convey the anger and despair in the song’s lyrics. The members of Plague Mind are hardcore lifers, having played in bands including Betrayed, With Honor, Love Is Red, Sinking Ships and Trial to name a few. EP marks the band’s second release, following their 2022 self-titled debut. Across the four songs on the EP, band mix pandemonium and gloom with introspective lyrics that address depression and isolation. The EP was recorded by Ben Verellen (Helms Alee) at Basketball Studio, mixed by Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues) at The Pit and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

Plague Mind is Rob Mcfeters – Vocals, Roger Kilburn – Guitar, Jack Caron – Bass and Todd Preboski – Drums.
