Greg Stainer – Much Difference
(Seamless Traxx – STRAXX001)
1. Greg Stainer – Much Difference (Luigi Rocca Mix)
2. Greg Stainer – Much Difference (Original Mix)
Release Date: 12th April 2012

‘Seamless Traxx’, the new imprint from Seamless dedicated to bringing you the finest in big room, main room house. The first release from Greg Stainer titled ‘Much Difference’, a main room driving house track with big beats, bass and a Balearic inspired lead sound. Greg has been part of the music scene since the early nineties involved in the “Sunday Scene” which later became known as UK Garage or Speed Garage. He produced his first record ‘Weakness’ with MJ Cole, which became an underground UK garage hit. Since 2002 Greg has been living in Dubai, where he was the first DJ to create regular house music nights at “Zinc”, where he is still resident 10 years on! He is one of the biggest DJs on the scene in Dubai, and his “Club Anthems” show is aired on UAE Radio 1 104.1 & 100.5FM.

He has worked with artists like Stefano Noferini, David Jones, MJ Cole, Robert Owens and Davidson Ospina to name just a few. His productions have received the support of many of the biggest djs and house music artists on the planet such as Roger Sanchez, Dubfire, Mark Knight, Baggi Begovic, Sister Bliss, Groove Armada, Bad Boy Bill, Freemasons, Axwell, Tocadisco, Erick Morillo and many more. He has just received his first Gold Disc for his collaboration with Karl Wolf in Canada. It’s fitting for our first release that we have one of the biggest names of the moment, 303 Lovers, and Hotfingers label owner Luigi Rocca. Having consistently put out amazing tracks and remixes for his own labels and others such as Z Records, Spinnin and Toolroom, we thought this track was the perfect one for him to remix and he hasn’t disappointed. With powerful beats and adding some slightly darker stabs and taking this more on a late night 5am vibe. He uses Greg‘s original lead sound in the break whilst adding some nice strings giving this track a superb lift and really making this a track to look out for this summer in Ibiza….look out!
