Glocca Morra release video for ‘See-Through Person’
Philadelphia, PA’s favorite raucous, hazy summer punks Glocca Morra have released a new video for their song ‘See Through Person’ off their 2012 EP ‘An Obscure Moon Lighting An Obscure World’ on Kind of Like Records.
The video comes right in time for their tour of the Eastern US with their Philly breathren Luther (all tour dates below). Directed by Federico R. Casanova and edited by David Milstein, it starts off light but takes a sudden, dark, unexpected turn. Glocca Morra‘s signature joyfully poppy indie garage sound has garnered them critical praise and attention in a short amount of time. The barely-restrained anger that peaks out around the angular, hooky guitar riffs and huge, sing-along choruses make the band perfect listening for blowing off steam on Fridays after work with a beer in hand. Effervescent, overwhelming and hopelessly addictive, while still managing to be potty-mouthed and caustic, singer/guitarist Zack Schwartz probably summed up Glocca Morra best when he said of his own music, “We hope people are disappointed.”
