Gleemer share moody new single ‘The Body’s Worth’
New album ‘End Of The Nail’ out December 6th on Other People Records.
Comprised of Corey Coffman (vocals, guitar) and Charlie O’Neil (guitar, bass, drums), the duo self-produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered the album at Coffman’s studio in Fort Collins, CO. The album is eleven nuanced tracks that highlight Gleemer’s range to combine the best from gloomy shoegaze, lush alternative rock, and captivating indie melodies. They share ‘The Body’s Worth’ the second single from LP following opening track ‘Half Smile’. On the song band has crafted a rich, melancholic, yet aggressive sound. Coffman’s distinct vocals pour out lyrics of isolation, emphasized by moody, layered guitars that build into soul-stirring rhythms. Diving deeper into the lyrics, Coffman states:
“This song explores feelings on the outside of a concrete system of beliefs. How isolation can play into your views, and how it feels to be floating on the perimeter, grappling with what your value is as a person.”
