Topshelf Records will release Frameworks‘ debut full-length in 2014. As previously revealed, the band will head into the studio with Jack Shirley (Deafheaven’s Sunbather) this winter to record the album. The Gainesville, FL band will also play several dates in the Western US surrounding the recording (all tour dates below). Frameworks has attracted early praise for their inventive melodic hardcore, with Pitchfork lauding the “spirited, Titus Andronicus-style downstrokes and handclaps of the intro and the waltz-time midsection” of ‘Preamble’ and BrooklynVegan calling the group’s sound “atmospheric and anthemic… as precise as they are aggressive.”
