Element x Fender
Introducing the 46/92 collection for Spring 2014
Music and skateboarding have a rich history together, pushing progression and continually changing the way we see and hear the world around us. In 1946 Fender was born and has grown to be the leader in musical instruments from the main stage to the enthusiast. If you double the year they started, 46, you get 92; the year Element was formed. Both are driven to create product with a purpose that is made to endure, and thus have stood the test of time. Introducing the 46/92 collection from Element in collaboration with Fender.
The collection contains seven tees featuring four different prints. All of them are made of 100% organic cotton, meaning they are also ‘Conscious by Nature’ – Element‘s product range, which is committed to environmentally conscious product and is thus constructed primarily of sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
Every tee will be sold in a real size vinyl sleeve and store displays will be original wooden Element x Fender vinyl crates.
This collaboration, that will be expanded from season to season, is especially dear to Element because its sub-cultures go so well together, which is very noticeable in the people Element is working with. Like Element, Fender also has a team of athletes and musicians they support and they tend to cross paths with Elements more often than not. Ray Barbee, is one superb example. An Element sponsored skateboard legend and a fantastic musician, sponsored by Fender. Hence, it was only a matter of time for Element to team up with Fender.
