Element releases new line from the “Nature Calls” collection for Spring 2024
Element’s seasonal Nature Calls collection with a new mix of outdoor inspired apparel that bridges the gap between contemporary street and outdoor utility.
This season’s theme is ‘Gripz, Roots, Rocks,’ inspired by the overlap between the freewheeling attitudes and bold vibes of the 80′s & 90′s skateboarding and rock climbing scenes. From the mountain to the streets, the goal of the Nature Calls capsules is to use fundamental design principles to make outdoor apparel garments functional and versatile. French artist and skateboarder, Alexis Jamet brought his take on vintage logos, prints and color schemes to the table, working with Element on the aesthetics of the range and the collection’s embodiment of the ‘Gripz, Roots, Rocks’ vibe.
Element has again partnered with the fabric innovators at POLARTEC®, utilizing their renowned technical fabrics to craft the technical garments of the collection. Used in conjunction with organic cotton and recycled polyester, the resulting pieces are all made with a reduced eco-footprint in mind.
To shoot and test the gear from the collection, some of the Element skate teamriders headed to an island in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. With skateboards in tow, the crew discovered the island’s perfectly sculpted sandstone geologic features that dot the coastline, which served as their naturally formed skate paradise and a stunning setting that encapsulates the feeling of the collection.
