New album ‘Life’s Cold Grasp’ out March 8th on DAZE.

Domain is one of South Florida’s most promising heavy bands, no small feat in a scene that is currently producing some of the best new hardcore and metal acts in the country. Playing a particularly vicious style of metallic hardcore, Domain have already dropped two EPs and will release their first full-length, ‘Life’s Cold Grasp’, on March 8th through DAZE. The band shares their latest single ‘Noix Et Boules’ an ear splitting tune that highlights the metalcore and deathcore influence found throughout the album. Song immediately kicks you in the teeth with ferocious vocals and blasting drums, oscillating into a heavy chugging fight riff. Fans of Integrity, Morning Again, Malevolent Creation will all find something to love on this track, while discovering a band that has crafted their own unique sound. The blazing fast pace of the riffs underscore the angry lyrics, a timely rallying cry against the wanton destruction of religious warfare and ignorance. Vocalist Alex Rothber expands:

“I wrote this song about religion. There’s so many wars and battles created by belief systems. It’s very strange to me. A belief is an opinion and it’s unforgivable that so many people have been killed over said opinions.”

‘Life’s Cold Grasp’ serves as a release of frustration for Rothber, who has penned a deeply lyrical album. The songs are cathartic and touch on the mundane day to day corporate lifestyle, religion, scene politics, self-hatred, and more.
