Devon Kay & The Solutions have released a festival cover the the 1980′s classic ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Waitresses

When the Christmas cover idea was approved, Devon Kay & The Solutions jumped on the idea of doing their take on The Waitresses’ ‘Christmas Wrapping’.

“It’s such a great song for so many reasons!” says Devon, “It’s a meandering story about a burnt out person going home for Christmas, being overwhelmed by the holidays and trying to meet up with their hometown crush. It also boasts one of the best horn parts in Christmas song history.” The Solutions chose a ska/punk/new wave back drop for their rendition of the song that really punctuates the playfulness of the original.”
