La storia della band è incentrata sulla figura del chitarrista e cantante Kirk Windstein, che gestisce ogni aspetto del gruppo, dalla stesura dei brani alla scelta dei componenti.

Durante gli anni sono numerosi i musicisti che hanno partecipato a questo progetto: dopo la pubblicazione del primo album, ‘Obedience Through Suffering’ (1992), entrò Matt Thomas alla chitarra. La nuova formazione firmò per la Pavement Music e pubblicò due album, ‘Crowbar’ (1993) e ‘Time Heals Nothing’ (1995). Dopo il terzo album, Numenmacher lasciò la band e al suo posto entrò Jimmy Bower (Down, Eyehategod, Superjoint Ritual). In questo periodo, Windstein, Strange e Bower erano anche impegnati con i Down, in cui militavano anche Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Superjoint Ritual) e Pepper Keenan (Corrosion Of Conformity). A tre anni di distanza da ‘One Less To My Last (2009)’ siamo lieti di annunciare l’uscita del nostro ultimo album (il terzo) intitolato ‘A Trip To The Closest Universe (2012)’. In uscita a dicembre 2012, per Go Down Records, il disco prende forma ad Asolo (TV) presso il Bad Rum Studio con la collaborazione attiva e partecipata (Mix e Master @ Groove studio, Casale sul Sile) di Tommaso Mantelli. Il progetto grafico, affidato ad Eeviac, rappresenta e simboleggia i propositi visivi ed estetici del gruppo. Il disco è composto da sei tracce inedite e registra trentatre minuti di musica. Una “cavalcata sonora” che trae ispirazione da diversi stili, generi e contaminazioni, dallo sludge/metal allo stoner; non mancano infine, momenti maggiormente riflessivi ed eterei.
