Crossed Keys ‘Vina Park’ new video
Philadelphia melodic-punk outfit, Crossed Keys, have released the final single before the release of their upcoming full-length ‘Believes In You’.
Featuring former members of Kid Dynamite, Good Riddance, Zolof The Rock & Roll Destroyer, and more, Crossed Keys is heavily informed by the punk and hardcore bands of yore that rattled the walls of VFW halls and basements in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. ‘Vina Park’ is another upbeat ripper that pays tribute to friendship and the music scene. Vocalist Josh Alvarez says “‘Vina Park’ is a song about friendship. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as thematic elements in Crossed Keys songs are concerned, but the subject matter of our friends is foundational to the entire thesis of our lyrical oeuvre. Or something like that. In any case, we celebrate friends and this song is about that.” Along with the new single, the band teamed up with director Shotgun to film a music video for the track that you can watch. Crossed Keys will release ‘Believes In You’ on Friday, May 5th and then celebrate the release at Sing Us Home Festival (presented by Dave Hause) on Saturday, May 6th. ‘Believes In You’ was recorded at Retro City Studios by Andy Clarke (Spirit Of The Beehive, The Wonder Years) and Dave Klyman (Restorations). Vocals were recorded by Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Be Well) and the entire album was mixed by Steve Evetts (Saves The Day, Dillinger Escape Plan). Vinyl pre-orders are available now from Dead Satellite Records, Creep Records and Sell the Heart Records.
