CONVERGE ANNOUNCE SUMMER TOUR DATES WITH NEUROSIS
The metal/punk pioneers will be supporting Neurosis on a nine-date road run…
Converge will be hitting the road alongside avant-garde heavyweights Neurosis for a batch of U.S. tour dates this summer. One of the most earth-shaking bands to emerge from the punk underground, Converge has been doling out its brutal meld of hardcore, punk, and metal since 1990. Comprised of vocalist Jacob Bannon, guitarist Kurt Ballou, bassist Nate Newton, and drummer Ben Koller, Converge has attained both cult status and international renown thanks to landmark albums including ‘Jane Doe’ and its successor ‘You Fail Me’. With eight albums and hundreds of shows behind them, Converge’s brute force and emotional power has remained stalwart throughout their nearly three-decade existence. One of the most established acts in heavy music, Converge’s breakneck intensity is something to behold live and in the flesh. Along with retaining a growing and rabid fanbase, Converge has received press accolades from a wide variety of publications, including Spin, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Pitchfork (Best New Music), New York Times, Decibel, Revolver, and more.
