Art collective of DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill), Andrew Kline (Strife), vocalist Brevi & curator Sean Bonner.

dmittedly, the combination of DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill) and Andrew Kline (Strife) may sound strange to some. From two very different musical backgrounds, however, come two gifted producers with similar interests in pushing the creative boundaries of music. A focal point for this musical experiment are the soulful vocals of Brevi. The group is rounded out by artist/hacker extraordinaire Sean Bonner. Cross My Heart Hope To Die is more than just a band or a project, it is a multimedia experience that begins with music. Now, CMHxHTD unveil the video for their second single ‘Two Shots’:

‘Two Shots’ is already reacting at radio, with more than 60 spins at 12 stations. The song builds on CMHxHTD‘s first single, ‘Wild Side’ and its success (140 spins to date at 20 stations). With a wide range of comparisons (everything from Portishead to Amy Winehouse), it is clear that CMHxHTD is an experience of its own. That is why the collective took a unique to spreading its music. Watch Matt Pinfield explain how CMHxHTD mounted boxes in more than 100 cities (and counting) that allow fans to tap into their music.

Be prepared. More from Cross My Heart Hope To Die is imminent.
