French synthwave artist, Carpenter Brut is the latest artist to add his take on a classic track for the official sountrack to Sumerian Comics’ ‘American Psycho’ comic book series. Enlisting the vocal talents of Ulver’s Krystoffer Rygg, Carpenter Brut presents his cover of the Billy Idol classic, ‘Eyes Without A Face’. Speaking on his fresh take on this 80s classic, Carpenter Brut shares: “I wanted to do a cover that was a bit different from the usual, slower than what I’m used to, and this song was an obvious choice for me. I thought Kris from Ulver would be the perfect match for the vocals. It turned out to be one of his favorite songs. So it was a sign to do this cover.
