Burton releases movie showing brand’s commitment to R&D
Snowboards are a good time. It’s why we’ve been building them from our beginning. It’s why we plan on making plenty more.
In our R&D facility, Craig’s, we get to spend less time wondering if an idea will work in favour of putting it on snow for the ultimate test. Burton doesn’t claim to be snowboarding’s inventor, but we do take credit for keeping with it since 1977. It’s been fun from the start, and that’s been our driving force for perpetual innovation: in materials, shapes, bends, and sustainable practices. The technology, know-how and experience living and breathing within Burton’s R&D facility, Craig’s, pushes us forward. And while we didn’t invent the idea of prototyping and testing, what we put behind everything we make is unequaled in snowboarding then, now, and the future. It’s all in that search for the next best thing.
