Bright continues to grow, attracts 30% more visitors than last winter.

The shows just keep getting bigger and bigger: Wrapping up its Winter 2016 edition, BRIGHT Tradeshow has once again continued to grow by attracting more and more visitors. Another joint show of both BRIGHT and SEEK Tradeshow at Berlin’s Arena, a cooperation successfully launched last summer, the last couple of days proved that this alliance has indeed become Europe’s main hub for Streetwear and Contemporary Men’s Fashion. The resulting synergies were even more obvious this time around, with visitors from all over the world browsing the stunningly huge portfolio both tradeshows have on display. Compared to its previous winter edition, the number of visitors at BRIGHT XXII once again increased by more than 30%, with the number of international visitors staying at an impressive 50%. An original platform known for its unique locations and a great vibe, BRIGHT XXII presented more than 250 brands from its carefully handpicked portfolio on 2,600 square meters. Additionally, the latest edition once again boasted a huge selection of side events that ranged from skateboarding to art and music: Introducing the all-new indoor Skate Area, which hosted various video premieres, the latest tradeshow also featured various art shows, live painting & tattoo action as well as exclusive launch and anniversary events. While the days were jam-packed with inspiring conversations, fun events and all the unique concepts our exhibitors came up with, the biggest night this time was clearly the fifth installment of the annual BRIGHT European Skateboard Awards: On January 19, more than 900 invited guests from all over the world gathered at Berlin’s infamous LIDO club for an epically raw night full of accolades, punk rock, official statements and pure karaoke fun. Celebrating the people who make European skateboarding happen for the fifth time, this year’s BESAs were awarded in 10 categories – with young powerhouse Daan Van Der Linden taking home the much coveted European Skateboarder Of The Year award. Additional nighttime highlights included a whole range of additional events presented in cooperation with Carhartt, Obey, Converse CONS, and Mastered.com.
