About:
Bash Brothers is a punk rock group from Sweden. Consisting of 4 guys from the small town of Eksjö. They all have backgrounds in the metal genre. Richard (guitars) and Linus (guitars) have played together in several different bands such as Tomorrow Will Never Come and Straight A’s. Johan (vocals) and Eric (drums) used to play in a band called Demonium.
Bash Brothers started with Johan, Linus, Richard and former member Tobias (bass) playing some punk rock covers from different bands. Richard began on the drums but felt like he wanted to do some shredding on the guitar instead and that’s when Eric came along. They left the covers behind and started writing their own material. The result became a self-titled EP recorded in early 2016, but not released until Feb 16th 2017. The same year Bash Brothers teamed up with Thousand Islands Records and Less Talk More Records for the release of their debut album, ‘Life Lessons’.
Now with a revamped line-up, the quartet is gearing up to release their sophomore and shredding album ‘Downhearted’ on February 8th 2019.
