Mentre riverberano ancora nell’aria le lodi per ‘Governed By Contagions’ (rilasciato a dicembre), gli At The Drive In ci svelano un nuovo brano dal titolo ‘Incurably Innocent’ che precede l’uscita il 5 maggio 2017 dell’album ‘in • ter a • li • a’, atteso da ben 17 anni. Su Rise Records. Cedric Bixler-Zavala, voce della band, descrive ‘Incurably Innocent’ come un “brano sul tema dell’abuso sessuale e sul riuscire finalmente ad affrontarlo e parlarne”. Prodotto da Omar Rodriguez-Lopez e Rich Costey ai Sound Factory di Hollywood, è composto da 11 brani e dura 41 minuti. ‘in • ter a • li • a’ riprende il discorso del precedente ‘Relationship Of Command’ (2000) e si espande in una miriade di traiettorie tanto imprevedibili quanto intense.
