“We had already written the music to ’20 Decibels’ when George Floyd became yet another victim of police violence and blatant racism. His fate shook us as it did so many others around the world, and we felt urged to take a stand. With only a subsecond prelude, its impelling verse that hardly gives you time to breathe and its overall atmosphere, the song proved to be the catalyst we needed to do just that.”
