It has been a great season for the French surfer who will finally sits down where he should have for many years with the elite of World Surfing.

His WQS campaign started with a runner up place at the Balito Pro in South Africa following by a win at the Lacanau Pro and couple solid results in the main contests.

After many years competing on the WQS, Joans impressive surfing and fitness maturity shone through in 2016. The qualification is a new step in the Joan’s career and a sign that the best is on its way! Congrats Joan Duru! #AuChilon
