FOUR YEAR STRONG WILL RELEASE 5TH STUDIO ALBUM ON JUNE 2ND
Worcester melodic-punk band Four Year Strong has announced plans today to release a self-titled album on June 2nd via Pure Noise Records.
The upcoming release will be their fifth studio record and full-length follow-up to 2011’s ‘In Some Way, Shape or Form’. Four Year Strong’s upcoming record was produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou (Every Time I Die, Code Orange Kids, High On Fire) at his Godcity Studio in Salem, MA. When asked about the album’s sound, guitarist/vocalist Dan O’Connor stated that it’s “one of the most raw records we’ve ever made, it’s just us playing. No fancy computer shit. Made for singing along and head banging”. Four Year Strong will mark the band’s second release for Pure Noise Records, following their 2014 EP ‘Go Down In History’. The band will be heading out on a US tour in May with The Story So Far, Terror and Souvenirs. Follow them at https://www.facebook.com/fouryearstrong for additional updates.
