In the spirit of long time friend and skateboard compatriot, Harold Hunter, DVS is proud to announce the release of the Rico CT HHF Shoe Series and its title sponsorship of Harold Hunter Day 2010.

In Harold’s tradition of inspiring community through positivity and friendship, the Harold Hunter Foundationaims to empower inner city youth through skateboarding and scholarships that nurture individuality and creativity. DVS shares this vision and is proud to stand behind the Harold Hunter Foundation with this limited collaboration project. Proceeds from the sale of the HHF Team Series go direct to the Harold Hunter Foundation.

“Harold was the first person I met in NYC back in 92’ during a Blind tour,” says Podium VP Tim Gavin. “He took care of us right from the start. He’s always been a NY legend and a good person. I’m stoked to carry on his legacy and support his foundation.” The Harold Hunter Foundation shoes are currently shipping to skate shops nationally, just in time for Harold Hunter Day—October 10, 2010. DVS will be on site during Harold Hunter Day at the Manhattan Bridge Skatepark along with riders Kerry Getz, Zered Bassett and Luis Tolentino.
