On the road to training for BMX racing at the Olympics, Steve crashed out of a race which ended his Olympic dreams. He became addicted to prescribed painkillers and was forced to go to rehab to seek help. In rehab Steve made new friends who he began taking heroin with after his stay at the center. In the film Steve and his mother reveal the struggles that his addiction created for them and their family. He really has an incredible story so I encourage you to take a watch.
