Following official remixes of BD1982 & MIK, Youngstar, Stuff and most recently Llesca as part of the ‘Sharks’ EP, Liminal Sounds co-owner Elsewhere steps up with his debut EP for ‘Get Some’, the ‘And I’ EP. Across four original productions, the EP explores Elsewhere’s brand of stripped-back and dark club tracks influenced by the continuing evolution of the UK’s underground lineage. Drawing on jungle, garage, grime, dubstep and all of the in-betweens, the EP is brought together by its focus on tough rhythms, lithe melodies and low-end pressure. Each track brings something different to the dance floor, from the skittering percussion and pulsing bass of lead track ‘And I’ to the acid synths and cut up breaks on EP closer ‘Tales Of A Dark Past’ via Tensile’s syncopated rhythms and taut strings and the swung 2-step bounce of ‘Painted Blue’.

The EP has had early support on BBC 1Xtra and Rinse FM.
