Currently in the midst of a busy summer touring schedule, Hotflush Recordings label boss Scuba is back with the third installment of his monthly ‘After Hours’ mix series.

The new hour-long mix, which is available to stream and download now from his website www.scubaofficial.com showcases a diverse selection of club material that traverses a fluid blend of sounds and moods with aplomb. “Over the last couple of years I’ve had my most enjoyable moments as a DJ playing long sets early in the morning, after the peak time crush has subsided and people have more space to dance, to get into the music and express themselves. You have so much freedom as a DJ in those situations and what I’ve been trying to do with the ‘After Hours’ mixes is try to capture the style and selection that goes into that kind of set, some of the stuff that makes it so much fun.” Following a busy 2012 release schedule and the launch of his unique live show, as well as a demanding Hotflush release schedule this year, Scuba has found time to drop remixes for Jimmy Edgar and CLOSE while at work in the studio on new original productions. Meanwhile, the label has continued to tirelessly push out top quality releases from South London Ordnance, Locked Groove, Sepalcure, George FitzGerald and Dense & Pika, with Paul Woolford’s utterly infectious new single ‘Untitled’ currently dominating the clubs and airwaves, hitting No.5 in the Beatport top 100 and successfully soundtracking the summer. Scuba’s hectic tour schedule over the season will see him playing a number of dates across Europe including a string of Ibiza shows as well as select festival performances such as at Creamfields, SW4 Electric Zoo and Unknown Festival, Croatia. He will also be spearheading Hotflush label parties in Munich at Sankeys, Ibiza alongside artists from the imprint’s burgeoning roster.
