November 26, 2012 Los Angeles, CA/ Burlington, ON- Hopeless Records and Silverstein are very excited to announce their 7th studio full length album ‘This Is How The Wind Shifts’ – a concept album that includes 14 brand new tracks and will be released February 5, 2013. “The idea of this album is how a persons life can change forever with just one event. It is the “what if” that everyone thinks about from time to time. This album is different from a typical start to finish story concept album, or an album where all the songs have a common theme. Each track has a parallel track that tells the story in a different light, what would have happened if things were different due toa single event. The song titles of each parallel track go together, forming a sentence or in some cases two words that relate to each other and to the story. Overall,the point of this album is not to prove the existence of fate, or to disprove it. Along with their new album, Silverstein have announced a Swiss/German headline tour kicking off in Zurich, ch. on April 5th, 2013, with Funeral For A Friend and The Tidal Sleep. Active for over 12 years, the JUNO nominated band has written and recorded 79 original songs, released 5 LP’s, 3 EP’s, 1 mini-album and have performed over 1500 shows in 34 countries around the world. Silverstein is vocalist Shane Told, bassist Billy Hamilton, drummer Paul Koehler, guitarist’s Josh Bradford and newcomer Paul Marc Rousseau.
