The Swedish stoner rock quartet also announce an official release of last year’s ‘All Descend’, ahead of the release of their new album later this year. FFO: Orchid, Coven, Cavern Deep.

‘All Descend’ by Terra Black is reissued via Bonebag Records on 26th July 2024. Following their signing to Bonebag Records, Gothenburg rockers Terra Black is thrilled to announce the rerelease of their 2023 debut, while offering a tantalising glimpse of things to come on new single, ‘Tethers’. Invoking dark atmospheres and Dante-esque soundscapes upon its digital release last year, ‘All Descend’ roused many a sleeping stoner from their slumber with lyrics and themes focused on the Devil, demons, Wicca lore, and celestial destiny. Coupled with cosmic vocals, sullen yet melodious choruses and heavy doom drenched passages, the band’s sound and self-confidence has grown immeasurably since their formation in 2020.

“We finally got to see them live at House of Metal in Umeå and were immensely impressed by their sound and stage presence” explains Bonebag Records owner, Max Malmer. “We’re excited to be able to give their debut album an official physical release and can’t wait to work closely with them on their follow-up, which they’re currently in the midst of recording.” With the band keen to get the ball rolling on album number two, they have also offered up a track to the gods of promotion in the form of new single ‘Tethers’. Purposefully sparse and unpolished, it’s a heady journey down a doom ridden rabbit hole of cosmic noise and malevolent melody. “The song represents something that keeps the things we want from escaping,” explains singer/guitarist, Ezgi. “It’s a metaphor that transcends the material. As a standalone single it bears the name with the understanding that what we choose to tether, isn’t always harmless.”
