Airship ‘Spirit Party’- the new single out November 14

Airship are pleased to announce details of a new single this autumn, and a couple of new headline shows to coincide. The band will release ‘Spirit Party’ on the 14th November. It is taken from their recently released debut album, ‘Stuck In This Ocean’, and they will support its release with two headline shows in Manchester and London. Tickets for both shows are on sale now from Ticketline (Manc) and Seetickets (London). Produced by Doves/Cherry Ghost producer Dan Austin at Rockfield Studios, and aided with production by both Doves’ ambient programmer Rebelski and Editors’ guitarist Chris Urbanowicz, ‘Stuck In This Ocean’ is a suitably ‘big’, leftfield record, and one with a depth and soul. Taking notes from the likes of Animal Collective and Wild Beasts, and albums that piece themselves together like an intricate jigsaw puzzle after repeat listens, Airship value the layering of instruments and the strength of making their songs blast out of the speakers with a Phil Spector ear for immediacy.
