Baltimore’s Liars Academy has been relentless since February when they dropped their critically acclaimed third LP, ‘Ghosts’.

This spring, between auditioning drummers, rehearsals and east coast dates, they hit Tesla Electric Recording in Charlotte, North Carolina, and put their mark onto a handful of brilliant cover songs. First up is this standout from Leatherface’s 1991 ‘Mush’ album, a scorching cover of Leatherface’s ‘I Don’t Want to Be the One to Say It’. Liars Academy‘s treatment offers all the gas and gin of the original funneled through their own unique lens of Liars Academy.
