Debt Cemetary release new single!
Toronto melodic punks, Debt Cemetary, have just released a brand new single, ‘Daved And Confused’, via Thousand Islands Records.
This is the first song from the band since their debut EP – ‘Dig It Yourself’ (April 2020) – and first to feature the group’s newly solidified lineup. Self recorded and produced, DC brought on rising engineer Matt Gauthier for a mix and master to lift the track to its full potential. The song tells the story of a broken man, struggling with his addictions – something we can all relate to. The lyrics bring to life the inner perspective and downward spiral that comes with the seemingly inescapable cycle of substance abuse. The title to the track comes into full fruition for the ending of the song with multiple vocal layers helping emphasize the character’s feelings of chaos and being overwhelmed with their doubts and thoughts. ‘Daved And Confused’ is streaming everywhere and can also find a limited edition ‘Daved And Confused’ t-shirt on the Thousand Islands Records website.
