Nitro snowboards proudly presents an insight into the passion, creation, and new graphic series by Lorenz Holder on the new 2018 Nitro Team Exposure snowboard.

Lorenz Holder started out as a Nitro team rider and has been a staff photographer for Nitro for over 10 years. He has also received the 1st place award in the RedBull Illume Action Sports Awards two times in a row. Lorenz has done the photography for a couple of Nitro Team Exposure series in the past, but this season he wanted to bring in an old school film technique and style on to the Team Exposure.

This year he has used one of the oldest forms of developing photos, by shooting the photos with an old medium format film camera and than using two alternative printing processes that were first developed in 1842 named Cyanotype and Van Dyke process. Simply put you print the photos by placing the film negatives on a piece of paper and let the sunlight burn the image onto the paper.

The images represent the craftsmanship put into each of our snowboards, by using a handmade photo series as the graphics. To find out more information watch the video:
